The Peoria Chapter of ASM is now recruiting students for the annual 2010 Materials Camp!

Calling all High School Teachers!

ASM also offers materials camps for science, math, and technology teachers!  ASM Materials Camp-Teachers demonstrates how to use low/no cost, simple labs and experiments using everyday materials that can be integrated into existing science/math lesson plans. ASM International Scholarships

  • ASM National Merit Scholarships:  The ASM Materials Education Foundation currently sponsors $1,000 scholarships for students who had indicated an interest in materials science and engineering as National Merit Semi-Finalists in high school. One new student is sponsored each year. Click here for more information.

  • ASM Undergraduate Scholarships:  The ASM International Foundation awards 37 undergraduate scholarships annually. Click here for more information.            

Society of Women Engineers Scholarships

  • The Central Illinois Section of the Society of Women Engineers is now accepting applications for two $250 scholarships.  Applications are due February 29, 2008.  If you have additional questions, please contact Stacey DelVecchio, the Scholarship Committee Chair, at SWE.central.Illinois@swe.org.  Click here for the scholarship guidelines and application.

FEF is the cast metals industry's educational program at the college level. It includes four-year technology schools as well as traditional engineering colleges and graduate schools. It spans the broad range of higher education from production supervision to specialized research.
