The Peoria Chapter of ASM is recruiting students for the fourth annual 2008 Materials Camp!The goal of the camp is to introduce high school students entering their Junior and Senior year the fundamentals of Materials Science Engineering. Calling all High School Teachers! ASM also offers materials camps for science, math, and technology teachers! ASM Materials Camp-Teachers demonstrates how to use low/no cost, simple labs and experiments using everyday materials that can be integrated into existing science/math lesson plans. Grade School FIRST LEGO League Students learn about the fundamentals of engineering, conduct research on specific topics, present the results on PowerPoint, and learn about teamwork.

SAE - A World In Motion Sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers, this program brings authentic engineering design experience into the classroom through four curricula referred to as Challenges.
High School Engineering Explorers Post Introduces high school students to engineering careers and concepts through presentations, hands on activities, tours, and more.
FIRST Robotics Competition A competition that teams professionals and high school students to solve and engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way.
Project Lead The Way A four year sequence of courses for high school students to prepare them for an engineering curriculum prior to college.
Science, Technology, & Engineering Preview (STEPS) A week long program focused on introducing minority high school students to engineering and manufacturing careers. Contact the STEPS coordinator at Bradley University.

Foundry Educational Foundation FEF is the cast metals industry's educational program at the college level. It includes four-year technology schools as well as traditional engineering colleges and graduate schools. It spans the broad range of higher education from production supervision to specialized research.
